If you have made a fresh install of Spybot-S&D 1.2, you may miss some
functions, like the Tools or the Excludes section. They have
not vanished, but Spybot-S&D can now be started in two modes. If you open
your start menu and look into the Spybot - Search & Destroy group,
you'll see two different modes. If you start it in advanced mode, you'll
see all the features you know from 1.1, plus a few new ones.
Next update will have a new main menu item that allows you to switch between
easy and advanced mode from within the program.
